A 28-year-old driver was arrested in the early hours of Thursday, November 6, after parking his car on tram tracks in central Athens, causing tram service to be suspended for approximately one hour.
According to the Hellenic Police (ELAS), a case was filed against the 28-year-old for obstructing public transport. He was also fined €1,200 and had his driving license suspended for two months.
The arrested driver was taken before the competent public prosecutor.
