Since the conclusion of the multi-partite meeting on the Greek issue that took place on the sidelines of the EU summit last week, the Greek Government has been in a race against time to compile the detailed list of reforms for its International creditors.
The list, which will be based on the set of measures announced by Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis in February, has to be presented to the creditors within a few days, to unlock the cash Athens urgently needs.
German Chancellor Merkel said yesterday that Greece, which faces a cash crunch within weeks, would only receive funds once its creditors approve the comprehensive list of reforms which the Greek Prime Minister promised to deliver soon.
However, the Greek Govt is now under significant time pressure, as Alexis Tsipras is scheduled to meet on Monday with Angela Merkel.
Also, according to information, an extraordinary Eurogroup meeting is to be held this week, on Friday.
This means that, most likely, there will be a meeting between the Greek side and the technical teams of the country’s creditors (Brussels Group) on Wednesday and also a meeting of the EuroWorking Group on Thursday.
