Lily-Rose Depp appeared completely unrecognizable in new photos released from the set of her upcoming film Werwulf.

The 26-year-old actress was photographed on location in England wearing a long wool coat, with her head wrapped in a red cloth that dramatically altered her appearance. The look is a striking contrast to her previous roles, including Nosferatu and HBO’s The Idol in 2023. In the images, Lily-Rose Depp is seen without any makeup, and in several shots she carries an intense, almost haunting expression.

Werwulf marks Depp’s second consecutive collaboration with writer and director Robert Eggers, known for atmospheric horror and thriller films such as The Witch, The Northman, and The Lighthouse. The cast also includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Willem Dafoe.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie is set in 13th-century England and features dialogue authentic to the period, accompanied by translations and notes for viewers not familiar with medieval English.

Werwulf is scheduled to hit theaters on December 25, 2026.
