By decision of the Minister of Culture and Sports, Panos Panagiotopoulos, author and screenwriter Petros Markaris was appointed Chairman of the Greek Film Centre Board.

Alongside him, vice-president, film producer Nikos Sekeris and members including Yannis Diamantopoulos, editor Gorgos Mavropsaridis, communications consultant Elpida Skindilia, and costume-designer Bianca Nikolareizi, as well as compose Yannis Glezos.
