Newsroom February 19 03:36

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis held a series of meetings with leading figures from the global Artificial Intelligence industry on the sidelines of the AI Impact Summit held in New Delhi. The Prime Minister met with Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI; Arthur Mensch, CEO of Mistral AI; Mati Staniszewski, CEO of ElevenLabs; and Brad Smith, Vice Chair of Microsoft.

During the discussions, the framework for potential collaborations was put on the table for the further use of artificial intelligence applications in public administration, with the main goal of improving digital services offered through the gov.gr platform. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening accessibility, so as to better serve citizens with limited familiarity with digital technologies, such as the elderly and people with disabilities.

The meetings also addressed the opportunities AI offers to increase the efficiency of public services, develop applications that support public health, public education and civil protection, as well as accelerate the delivery of justice.
