Europe is keeping its eyes on the “prize” of UK elections today, with polling estimates assured that it’s going to be a long night, and that no party will manage to hold on to a clear majority win.
Around 50,000 voting stations opened at 07:00 local time. More than 45 million voters will cast their votes to elect 650 MPs. Voting will cease at 22:00, when the exit poll will be announced.
Conservatives and Labour are preparing for a close fight, since the latest polls had them both garnering 33%.
