Equity prices dropped on the Athens Stock Exchange at 11 a.m. on Monday with the basic share price index down 1.71% at 798.12 points and turnover at 8.33 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 1.66% while the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 0.03%.

The individual sector indices showed the biggest gains in Media (+5.26%), Real Estate (+0.25%) and Personal and Household (+0.21%).

The biggest losses were in Banks (-3.27%), Telecoms (-2.20%) and in Food and Beverages (-1.48%).

16 of the stocks traded increased, 32 dropped and 7 remained unchanged.
