The week begins with very good weather both on land and at sea, according to the meteorologist of protothema.gr, Giorgos Tsatrafyllias. In addition, temperatures will be at relatively high levels.
More specifically, today Friday 27/4/2026 we expect generally clear weather in most areas. However, after midday, local showers are expected in the mountainous regions of the mainland.
The maximum temperature will reach 26–27°C in the mainland, the Dodecanese, and Crete, and 21–22°C in the Ionian Sea and northern Greece. In the evening, temperatures will drop to 13°C in the north and 14–15°C in central and southern areas.
Winds in the Ionian will blow from northwesterly directions at 3–4 Beaufort. In the Aegean, winds will be northerly to northwesterly with intensity up to 6 Beaufort.
In Attica, sunshine is expected. Winds will blow from northeasterly directions up to 5 Beaufort. The temperature will range from 12 to 25°C.
In Thessaloniki, only a few clouds are forecast. Winds in the Thermaic Gulf will be moderate, and temperatures will range from 13 to 22°C.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, clear weather conditions will continue in most areas, with temperatures remaining at the same levels. Winds will not create any problems for sea travel.
From Thursday and over the May Day long weekend, according to the latest forecast data, rainfall is expected to increase mainly in the northern and eastern parts, along with a significant drop in temperature.
