Nafplio has dressed up for the occasion, welcoming the global yachting elite as it takes center stage in the international scene by hosting the 11th Mediterranean Yacht Show (MEDYS). From May 2 to May 6, 2026, the event — held under the auspices of the Greek Yachting Association (GYA) — brings together the top tier of the crewed luxury charter industry, attracting professionals and enthusiasts from around the world.
The exhibition has become a benchmark for Greek yachting on an international level, firmly established as the largest of its kind globally and the only event of this magnitude in Greece dedicated exclusively to the high-end luxury yachting sector.

Preparations were completed as of yesterday, with most of the impressive yachts already docked, adding a new dimension to the already striking city of Argolida. More than 130 yachts applied for the 94 available berths, highlighting the sustained interest and high demand to participate in this flagship event.
Among the vessels on display are some of the most luxurious and renowned in the world, including the 56-meter Benetti AELIA, the 42-meter Codecasa ABILITY, and the 27-meter Azimut AGIO, offering international brokers a unique opportunity to inspect firsthand options for the upcoming summer charter season.
MEDYS is not just a yacht show. It serves as a comprehensive networking and showcase platform where international brokers, exhibitors, media representatives, and other industry professionals meet to exchange ideas, strike deals, and explore the latest trends.

The official opening of the 11th Mediterranean Yacht Show will take place this evening at the port, followed by a reception at the iconic Bourtzi Fortress. With an impressive lineup of yachts, key industry figures, and a rich program of social events, the exhibition reinforces its role as a major meeting point for the global luxury yachting community.

One of the highlights of the event is the renowned Chefs’ Competition, where talented yacht chefs showcase their culinary skills, offering a unique gastronomic experience to attendees. At the same time, numerous exhibitors present products and services related to the yachting world — from equipment and technology to management services and destinations.
The presence of the Mediterranean Yacht Show transforms Nafplio into a vibrant, cosmopolitan hub. The coexistence of the city’s historic architecture with the dazzling luxury of state-of-the-art yachts creates a unique setting that captures the attention of the global yachting community.

MEDYS reaffirms Greece’s position as a top destination for luxury charters and highlights Nafplio as an ideal host for high-profile international events.
Once again, the port of Nafplio hosts the finest yachts with Greek professional licenses, bringing together hundreds of industry professionals from across the globe and offering a comprehensive overview of the sector’s trends and capabilities.
