Uganda’s army chief, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, launched fresh remarks about his connection to Alexander the Great, as well as a new attack against Turkey, just days after claiming that a DNA test showed he is 14% Greek.

The African general’s latest posts on X were prompted by his long-running dispute with Turkey.

Responding to a user comment urging him, “don’t det down to Turkey’s level,” Kainerugaba — who is the son of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni — wrote: “Thank you, Greece is a great country. We know this.”

A short while later, he posted a photo of a bust of Alexander the Great, commenting: “No doubt that we are related.”

The Ugandan army chief then turned his attention to Turkey, writing:

Kainerugaba continued in the same tone shortly afterward, writing:

He also claimed that the “weak” and “desperate” Turks are “using images and videos of Che [Guevara] to insult me.”

The African general concluded his barrage of posts with another message stating: “We will not allow the Ottoman Empire to return to Africa. It is a diabolical empire. They are the anti-Christ.”
