The Cabinet will meet tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The meeting will take place at the Maximos Mansion.
The agenda of the Cabinet meeting includes:
- Presentation by the Minister of Labour and Social Security, Niki Kerameus, of the bill to strengthen the implementation of equal pay between men and women for the same work or work of equal value, and the incorporation of Directive 2023/970.
- Briefing by the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis, on the progress of the Recovery and Resilience Facility (Recovery Fund).
- Proposal by the Minister of Rural Development and Food, Margaritis Schinas, regarding the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 2028–2034.
- Presentation by the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, of the bill on financial sector supervision, the European Single Access Point, financial risk management, and the incorporation of Directives 2024/1619, 2024/2994, 2024/927, and 2023/2864, as well as the implementation of Regulations 2023/2859 and 2023/2869.
- Presentation by the Minister of Development, Takis Theodorikakos, of the bill establishing a new framework of incentives for foreign direct investment.
- Presentation by the Minister of Justice, Giorgos Floridis, and Deputy Minister Yiannis Bougas, of the bill on the Code of Alternative Dispute Resolution.
- Presentation by the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, and Deputy Minister Christos Dermetzopoulos, of legislative initiatives:
(a) measures implementing the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of 13 June 2024),
(b) establishment of a Unified Real Estate Hub. - Proposal by the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, regarding the issuance of a Cabinet Act for the co-signing by the Greek State of the concession agreement for the management, operation, development, expansion, maintenance, and exploitation of Kalamata International Airport “Captain Vassilis Konstantakopoulos.”
- Proposal by the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, regarding the reappointment of Yannis Stournaras as Governor of the Bank of Greece.
