Israeli Military Radio: Exchange of Fire with Iran “Expected to Last Several Days”

Israeli Military Radio reports that the Israeli military estimates its campaign against Iran could last several days.

The military is preparing for a “large-scale reserve mobilization” and is expected to call up a number of reserve battalions, according to Israeli Military Radio correspondent Doron Kadosh.

Iran Says It Is Ready for “Wide Operations on All Fronts”

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards say they are prepared for “wide operations on all fronts,” according to the Fars News Agency.

Earlier, the group had announced a “full week of continuous attacks” in response to Israeli strikes in Beirut.

Revolutionary Guards: We Struck the Israeli Air Bases Nevatim and Tel Nof

Shortly before 8:30 a.m. Monday, the Revolutionary Guards announced that they had launched attacks on the Israeli air bases Nevatim and Tel Nof.

According to the statement, the attacks were in response to Israeli strikes on various radar sites in three regions of Iran.

The Revolutionary Guards also announced that the new operation is named “Operation Nasr.”

Israel Bombed a Petrochemical Plant in Southwestern Iran

Israel bombed a petrochemical plant in the city of Mahshahr in southwestern Iran shortly before 8:00 a.m. Monday.

The announcement was made by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), and the news was also reported by Iran’s Fars News Agency.

Iranian Media: Explosions in Tehran, Tabriz, and Isfahan After Israeli Strikes

Explosions were heard early Monday morning in Tehran, Tabriz, and Isfahan, according to Iranian state television, marking a new escalation in tensions between Iran and Israel.

Israel announced strikes on military targets in Iran following Tehran’s missile attack.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a social media post that the Israeli Air Force struck military targets in western and central Iran, without providing further details about the targets or the results of the raids.

Iran Had Warned of Retaliation for the Israeli Strike in Beirut

Earlier, Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said that Tehran would respond “decisively” to the latest Israeli airstrike on the southern suburbs of Beirut, which killed at least two people and injured 11 others.

“We will give a decisive and painful response to the Zionist regime’s attack on Dahieh,” he wrote. “These rabid dogs must be punished and put in their place,” he added.

The IDF says it detected missile launches from Iran and is working to intercept the threat, according to The Times of Israel.

Sirens are sounding throughout northern Israel amid the Iranian attack.

Israel subsequently intercepted two ballistic missiles, and there have been no reports of injuries or damage.

Later, the armed forces detected additional ballistic missiles heading toward the northern part of the country.

Iran launched a missile attack against northern Israel, the first since the ceasefire that took effect in April.
