The Iraqi government blocked access on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, according to international broadcast media
According to sources, the ministry has been mandated by the government to block access to these websites, without giving further details.
However ,Islamist militants of ISIL have released several videos and images to promote their activity through internet.
Meanwhile, the fear for hundreds of deaths from the advance of jihadist increases, while the last of them are heading to Baghdad.
As the United Nations spokesman of Human Rights, Mr. Rupert Colvill says, in their passage jihadists , execute, rape and kidnap.
An appeal to the people of Iraq to take guns in their hands against the jihadists, was addressed on Friday by Ayatollah Ali Sistani, the highest Shiite religious authority in the country.
“People who can get guns and fight the terrorists in order to defend their country, their people and their holy places, should volunteer and enlist to security forces, to carry out this sacred purpose, ” said in his preach, Sheikh Abdel Mehdi al Karmpalai, on behalf of Ayatollah al-Sistani.
According to him, “The terrorists do not want to control only certain areas but are also targeting all areas including Baghdad, the Kerbala and Najaf. Therefore the responsibility to confront and fight them rests all. ”

Finally Sheikh Abdel Mehdi, added that “he who dies defending his country and his family, will be considered witness.”
