See a violin shaped swimming pool

Few would have imagined a violin shaped pool and even fewer would be able to have it!

Newsroom June 16 10:40

As the new status-symbol of the rich and famous is the most impressive pools and not fast cars and magnificent houses, the rich and powerful people in the world use their fantasy and their money in manufacturing and they construct impressive things!

A banker, Jay Dweck, former head of Goldman Sachs, was inspired by a Stradivarius violin and created a unique pool in this shape, which cost no less than one million U.S. dollars. The pool has also a bow which is also formed by water.

“I wanted a pool long enough to swim laps, say 80 to 100 feet. However, given the restrictions, such a pool would have to be very narrow.” Dweck said to Daily Mail explaining how wanting to combine his ‘needs’ with the restrictions, resulted in this uniquely shaped pool. The fact that the pool was constructed in New York and not in the vast expanses of California restricted his desire…

Dweck started to draw the shape that would work best for his pool and it reminded him of a violin, as he said to Daily Mail.
Playing the violin himself the former executive of Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley took note of his Stradivarius’ dimensions and realized it could work. He would be able to have a violin-shaped pool.
