Savvas Xyros – one of the jailed members of the Marxist urban guerrilla terrorist organization known as 17 November (17N) – appeared this morning at the Court of Piraeus, accompanied by members of the Anti-Terrorist Squad. According to Mr. Xyros’ lawyer, the inmate has serious health problems with his sight, hearing and walking and is asking for the rest of his sentence to be served under house arrest. The hearing is scheduled for 11am.
