Greek stocks ended slightly lower in the Athens Stock Exchange on Tuesday, remaining under pressure for the fifth successive session, during which the composite index has lost 4.87 pct. The index fell 0.30 pct to end at 1,258.48 points, off the day’s lows of 1,252.95 points.
Turnover was a moderate 108.75 million euros. The Large Cap index eased 0.25 pct and the Mid Cap index ended 0.11 pct lower. Eurobank Properties (3.98 pct), Metka (2.26 pct), OPAP (2.08 pct) and Titan (1.92 pct) were top gainers among blue chip stocks, while Eurobank (3.17 pct), MIG (3.13 pct), Folli Follie (1.88 pct) and Viohalco (1.69 pct) suffered the heaviest percentage losses of the day.
The Chemicals (4.38 pct), Real Estate (3.09 pct) and Travel (1.70 pct) sectors scored gains, while Media (9.81 pct), Insurance (6.38 pct) and Commerce (1.86 pct) suffered losses.
Broadly, advancers led decliners by 68 to 63 with another 22 issues unchanged. Cyclon Hellas (25 pct), NEL (16.67 pct) and Haidemenos (9.91 pct) were top gainers, while Ilyda (28.06 pct), Pegasus (20 pct) and Athina (19.79 pct) were top losers.
