The White House said on Friday it welcomed the latest proposal by the Greek government to resolve its “euro crisis” and that it was something for that country’s creditors to weigh.

“We are pleased to see that Greece has taken the step of putting forward a specific proposal, but it’s one that their creditors will have to evaluate,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters.
