After the scoreless draw that kept Greece and Japan alive, Bloomberg gives Greece a 35.8% chance of qualifying for the next phase of the World Cup.
According to the financial site’s predictions, Ivory Coast has better chances (53,10%) of qualifying at the final of June 24, that will determine which team will follow Colombia to the round of “16”.
The site analysts also give a small chance of qualification (11,1%) to Japan, although it is going to face Colombia, that stands atop Group C.
Based on the same analysis, the favorite to win the World Cup is Brazil with 22.1% chances, followed by Germany with 15.56%, Argentina with 13.4% and Belgium with 8.94%.
For the record, Bloomberg gives Greece a 1.16% chance to win the World Cup this year.
