A wedding gift that many would be thrilled to have, was given by Angelina Jolie, to Brad Pitt. The 39 year old actress thought to give her beloved the typewriter that Noble prize winner and influential author Ernest Hemingway used, prior to his suicide on July 2nd, 1961.

Hemingway had written many things on the typewriter, including the novel: “For Whom the Bell Tolls”.

Jolie spent 250,000 dollars, according to a US website. Originally she wanted to buy Tennessee Williams’ typewriter, but since it was unavailable, she bought a1926 Underwood model belonging to Hemingway.
