Bill “Spill” Murray’s televised slip

Some may claim it was another joke by the actor and comedian but it looked far too real. Then again, he is extremely talented…

He is one of Hollywood’s most talented actors and a real silver screen legend. It was natural that he’d become the subject of media across the world for being drunk on a show and slipping horrendously.

He appeared to have had one too many drinks as he plopped down on the bar-stool-like seat… and promptly fell over with a grimace.

Bill blamed David Letterman, the famous US host, for getting him drunk since the latter was celebrating the end of a long career on TV’s most precious time-slot.

Trivia: Murray became the first guest on NBC’s Late Night with David Letterman on February 1, 1982. He would later appear on the first episode of the Late Show with David Letterman in August 1993, when the show moved to CBS. On January 31, 2012 – 30 years after his first appearance with Letterman – Murray appeared again on his talk show. He appeared as Letterman’s final guest when the host retires on May 20, 2015
