Car bomb explosion hits police station in Turkey

Several people wounded – Eyewitnesses said the attack included several car bombs

A car bomb exploded near a police station in the province of Mardin, Turkey on Wednesday leaving several people wounded, local media report.

The explosion occurred in the town of Midyat located near the Syrian border and many ambulances and police vehicles have already rushed to the site, says Turkish broadcaster NTV said.

Eyewitnesses have said the attack included several car bombs.
