China shows off its new J-31 stealth fighter

It will compete against the US F-35 stealth jet

China presented its newest military vehicle, the “invisible” J-31 fighter jet, which aims to compete against its US counterpart, the F-35. The presentation took place during the completion of the two-day APEC summit, where the grand Chinese plan to establish a zone of free trade between Asia and the Pacific was established.

While APEC leaders were preparing to complete their summit in Beijing, the aerospace company of China, Avic, presented the new  Chinese jet, in Zhuhai, named J-31.

It is the equivalent of the US Stealth F-35, with which China will be competing in the international arms race in countries which the US has embargoed.
