Few people know that at the end of his life Johann Strauss II, the famous “King of Waltz”, composed music for ballet. As the composer died in 1899, he did not live to see the premiere in 1901. This new production of Cinderella, performed at the Athens Concert Hall (Megaron Mousikis) is choreographed by the director of the Ballet of the Greek National Opera, Renato Tzanelli. With the participation of the orchestra, dancers, soloists, and leading Corps de ballet of the Greek National Opera.
