Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has a busy day on Tuesday, his third in New York. On the sidelines of the 70th UN General Assembly he is scheduled to have a number of meetings:

9.30 – 10 a.m. (local time): Tsipras will meet with Cypriot President Nikos Anastasiadis
10.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (local): Participation in a summit meeting chaired by US President Barack Obama on fighting violent extremism and ISIS.
4 p.m. (local time): Tsipras will attend speech by Cypriot President Anastasiades.
5.40-5.50 p.m. (local): A meeting between Tsipras and UN General Secretary Ban Ki–moon.
6.30p.m. to 8.30 p.m. (NY time): An EU reception.
7.30 p.m.: A meeting with representatives of the Greek diaspora in the United States.
8.30 p.m.: Attendance at a dinner hosted by the country’s permanent representative.
