2% decrease compare to October 2013 – The number of unemployed in Greece amounts to 1.245.340 people with one in two being up to 24 years of age

The unemployment percentage in Greece decreased by 2%.

According to the Labour Force Survey of Hellenic statistical aithority (ELSTAT), during October of 2014 the unemployed formed at 25.8%, which is less by 2% from October of 2013.

The number of unemployed in Greece amounts to 1.245.340 people with one in two being up to 24 years of age, despite the five month temporary contacts of employment available.

More specifically, according to the survey, the unemployed decreased by 104.263 people compare to October of 2013.
