Sweden’s Måns Zelmerlöw with ‘Heroes’ wins Eurovision (Watch the videos!)

The big show gave viewers music for hours

The winner of the 60th Eurovision was Sweden and Måns Zelmerlöw, who sang “Heroes”. Greece and Maria Elena Kiriakou wound up a disappointing 19th, with Cyprus ending in 22nd place. Both entries were well-executed but still … bland ballads that wouldn’t — even for a moment — match the Swede’s modern song and special effects. Italy’s entry was sung in … Italian, to rave reviews, while Australia’s first-ever “novelty” entry was a catchy song-and-dance tune. Russia’s entry came in second, benefiting mostly from favorable voting by former Soviet states and Russia’s neighbors.

The Greek song, “One Last Breath”

The Cypriot entry, “One Thing I Should Have Done”

The Italy song by Il Volo
