One-time coalition partner casts vote amid negative poll predictions

The once-co-ruling party president spoke on the country’s progress forward

Leftist DI.MAR party president Fotis Kouvelis cast his ballot in today’s general elections, as opinion polls give his party a slim to zero chance of re-entering Parliament (> 3% of the general vote).

Kouvelis’ DI.MAR joined the outgoing coalition Samaras government before leaving in mid-term.

“The Greek people decide on the way that their country will follow, today. Their vote will show that Greece will move forward, and develop by standing on its own two feet. The Greek people’s vote will be the one to decide on the way forward for the country”.
