Four people arrested in Paris on terrorism charges

Two Turkish brothers and a woman were an immediate threat, said French police

According to French network TF1, French authorities thwarted a terrorist attack on Paris when they arrested four suspects, three men and a woman who were reportedly planning to carry out an attack. Two of the men arrested were bothers of Turkish ethnic background, while one of the suspects was a woman. According to authorities, one of the men was arrested in 2014 when he and two other accomplices were planning to travel to Syria and fight for the Islamic State (IS). Police said they posed an ‘immediate threat. During the police investigation officers found among other things incriminating electronic data, a gun cartridge and a USB stick.
