A 58-year old woman working for the Athens taxation department was arrested Tuesday by the financial fraud division of the Greek Police on charges of embezzlement of public money. The woman was taken into custody after the Athens prosecutor issued an arrest warrant Tuesday. The Corruptions prosecutor is expected to build a case against the accused woman for embezzling 6 million Euros from the public coffers and laundering revenue from illicit activities as a public employee in the tax services.
