French Prime Minister Manuel Valls warned that more attacks were being planned by terorrists in Paris in the wake of Friday night’s rampage that left 129 dead. Valls said that these terrorist attacks could take place “in days or weeks to come”.

Valls also pointed out that French intelligence services were aware that attacks were being carried out. The French government had already prevented several attacks since summer. The president said that Friday night’s atrocities had been “planned in Syria” and there were more attacks expected for France and the rest of Europe.

“We know that operations were being prepared and are still being prepared, not only against France but other European countries too,” he said according to media reports.
