A 49-year old German national was arrested in Crete for allegedly trafficking child pornography over the internet. The man had reportedly hacked the password of neighbour’s internet provider and was downloading child pornographic material to his computer. Following an investigation, the police managed to pin point his location and raided his house. The man had meticulously hid his laptop and computer hard drive in the terrace of the next apartment block. After searching his hardware, police thousands of photos of hardcore child pornography stored in both his laptop and computer hard drive. He tried to hide in the common area of the building he was living in, but was eventually caught.  The German is expected to appear before court in the town of Chania, Crete.
