GR Engineering wins construction contract at Halkidiki Peninsula

Phase Two of the Olympias Project can begin

GR Engineering Services has won a $7 million contract in Greece to provide engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services to Hellas Gold, a subsidiary of the Eldorado Gold Corporation.

In particular GR Engineering will design and construct a 385 kiloton per annum gold, lead/zinc concentrator associated with phase two of the Olympias project on Greece’s Halkidiki Peninsula. GR’s managing director Geoff Jones said he was pleased to see the geographical expansion of the company’s services.

Work under the contract will be delivered by the end of next year.
