Greece won 10 places in the global list of competitiveness

Our country ranks 81st among 144 countries, whereas last year it was 91st

Greece won 10 places in the global list of World Economic Forum‏ among 144 countries in the period 2014-2015, according to the data published today. This place reflects the improvement made by the country in most of the 12 indexes assessed by WEF.

These indexes include institutions, infrastructure, macro-economic environment, health, education, vocational training, product market efficiency, labor market efficiency, financial market development, technological development, market size and innovation.

Switzerland ranked first for sixth consecutive year followed by Singapore in second place, US in third, Finland in fourth and Germany in fifth place.

The United States and Japan were among the top economies regarding the competitiveness improvement achieved by the countries.
