Greek men’s water polo team beat U.S (16-11) to reach World Championship semi-final

Greece will face the winner of Italy and Hungary

The Greek national men’s water polo team defeated the United States 16-11 to move into the 2022 World Championship in Budapest.

The Greek team will face the winner of the European derby between Hungary and Italy who are playing in the other quarter final on Friday.

The Greek national team is in line for the 5th time in its history for a medal in a world championship, and after the bronze in Montreal in 2005 and in Kazan in 2015, it will try to go all the way and win the trophy.
