Greek-Turkish tensions – Turkey violates Greek airspace 41 times

All aggressor airplanes were intercepted

In its latest provocations against Greece, Turkey carried out a barrage of 41 violations of Greek national airspace in the Aegean on Wednesday.

Specifically, a total of 41 violations and seven infringements were recorded in the Northeast, Central, and Southeast Aegean, by two F-16 fighters, two ATR-72 naval cooperation aircraft, and an unmanned UAV.

According to the data of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), the 34 violations were committed by the ATR-72, the six by the UAV, and another by the F-16.

Turkish aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules, in accordance with established practice.
