Lewis Hamilton sent a message to his millions of fans via instagram. The seven-time Formula 1 champion described it as a “childhood dream” to drive for Scuderia Ferrari and said he felt confident in his decision.

He also thanked everyone at Mercedes, making special mention of Toto Wolf and the late Nicky Lauda.
