Astonishing video shows a massive dust cloud nicknamed Godzilla travelling all the way across the Atlantic Ocean from Africa to America.
Satellite footage of the huge plume – thought to be the largest ever – show it developing before gaining strength over the sea.
Despite sounding sinister, dust plumes could have a positive impact by preventing hurricanes from forming, scientists say.

The massive cloud was tracked by the European Space Agency’s Copernicus Sentinel and Aeolus satellites.
Posting the incredible clip on YouTube, the ESA wrote: “The Copernicus Sentinel-5P mission is dedicated to monitoring air pollution by measuring a multitude of trace gases as well as aerosols.
