India: 26-year-old man dressed as a woman to take university exams instead of his 34-year-old partner

The 34-year-old had previously failed the exam to get a job as a nurse

The arrest of a 26-year-old man who pretended to be a woman in order to sit for a university exam by impersonating his 34-year-old girlfriend has been made by the Indian authorities.

Angrez Singh wore a traditional costume usually worn by women in order to convince the examiners of the Baba Farid University Health Department that he was his 34-year-old girlfriend Parajamit Kaur.

As it turned out, the 34-year-old companion of the 26-year-old had previously failed the exams of the said department to obtain a license to work as a nurse.

In the photo released, the 26-year-old appears to have shaved his beard, is wearing a hat and has painted his lips pink.

What gave the 26-year-old away was a biometric check on his identity card as his fingerprints did not match

According to police, the 26-year-old had made a fake voter card, fake ID and a fake university card.
