Invasion of Ukraine: We want “substantial agenda” to enter into new negotiations, says Kyiv

“The negotiations have not been canceled, but the start time has been postponed – they may start again tonight”, diplomatic source told RIA Novosti

Negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations will most likely resume on the evening of March 2, a diplomatic source told Russia’s RIA Novosti.

“The negotiations were not canceled, but their start time was postponed. They may take place on the night of March 2 or later”, the source said.

Earlier, Russia Today correspondent Konstantin Prydybaylo reported that the Russia-Ukraine talks had been postponed without a specific date or time.

According to him, the main problem is that “there is no direct communication between Russia and the Ukrainian side.”

“More talks with Russia are under discussion,” Mikhail Pontoliak, an adviser to the Ukrainian president, told Reuters today, noting that a “substantial agenda” was needed.
