Israel declared a seven-hour humanitarian ceasefire and announced it will suspend all its operations in most parts of Gaza Strip to facilitate the humanitarian assistance to reach people in need and allow displaced Palestinians to return to their homes.

However, Israel stressed that if Hamas attack Israeli army, they will fight back.

The humanitarian ceasefire, which will start at 10:00 (local time), will not apply to areas of Rafah, where Israeli army continues its operation, according to the statement of an official of the Ministry of National Defence.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army fired on another UN school crowded with displaced Palestinians on Sunday morning, whereas the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, clarified on Saturday that Israeli army will not end its operation in Gaza, even if they destroy all the underground tunnels used by Hamas.

According to sources of the Ministry of Health of Palestine, at least 10 people died and more than 30 were injured during the new missile attack on the UN school in Rafah where about 3,000 Palestinians had sought shelter.

On Sunday night, the armed forces of Israel admitted that they fired on a target near the UN school in Rafah.

“The Israeli army had been targeting three Islamic Jihad terrorists who were riding a motorbike near the UNRWA school in Rafah” refers to a statement issued in Jerusalem, where it is noted that the armed forces “Consider the consequences had this setback.”
