Kedikoglou: He announced tax cuts and measures to support vulnerable groups

Government spokesman accused Mr Tsipras of committing a constitutional aberration with his decision to talk about “lack of harmony” in order to seek early elections

The government spokesman Mr Simos Kedikoglou talking on SKAI referred to European election result and admitted that the government received the “clear message” by the voters, that “society has reached its limits after two years of painful but necessary decisions,”.

In this context he even announced tax cuts and measures to support vulnerable groups using the new budget by the end of the year.

In response to the proposal of Alexis Tsipras to proceed to national elections, Mr. Kedikoglou clarified that the government has no intention to proceed to early elections, and accused Mr Tsipras of committing a constitutional aberration with his decision to talk about “lack of harmony” in order to seek early elections.
