Kremlin spokesman responded this way to the warnings of Kiev that Moscow could interrupt the supply of fuel to the continent this winter

The spokesman of Kremlin Dmitry Peskov said today that Russia is and will remain a reliable supplier of natural gas to Europe, responding this way to the warnings of Kiev that Moscow could disrupt supply the continent with fuel this winter.

“Russia was, is and will be a reliable supplier of energy resources in Europe” pointed the spokesman to reporters. Further he said that:

“In return, we hope that Ukraine will ensure the smooth passage”.

Moreover, Peskov stated that Moscow is ready to send a second convoy with humanitarian aid in eastern Ukraine, “even tomorrow.”

The Ukrainian president Peter Porosenko strongly criticized the first relief mission from Russia, as the trucks entered the Ukrainian territory after days of waiting at the border without permission from the Ukrainian authorities and without verification of load and delivery of the International Committee of the International Cross. Kiev denounced an “invasion.”

Further, Porosenko has stated that he is concerned about Russian intention to send a second convoy.

However when he was asked about the plans of Moscow for the second nodes, the spokesman replied that this would be sent “soon, the Russian side is ready to go even tomorrow.”
