Let’s play the “What if…?” game with Greece!

Would Greece be different if there weren’t so many temptations?

What if Greece had never adopted the euro currency?

What if Greece had never signed the first economic adjustment program for Greece on May 3, 2010?

What if Greek industries, such as the thriving textile trade, and agriculture had not been dismantled with farmers receiving subsidies not to produce?

What if IMF Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn had not been involved in a sex scandal and was in Christine Lagarde’s position?

What if Greece’s tax system actually worked, and the wealthy people paid the taxes they were supposed to pay?

What if the Greek justice system actually worked and corruption was punished?

What if Greece was not a land of sun and sea, but freezing cold? Would it be more efficient?

What if the Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) had not won the January 25 elections and Antonis Samaras was still PM?

What if there was no Referendum called for July 5 and creditors policies were adopted?

What if Greece exits the euro zone and then ends up thriving? Or what if the opposite is true?

What if suddenly there was debt forgiveness and Greece was no longer broke?

What if Greece says ‘Yes’ on July 5?

What if Greece says ‘No’ on July 5?

What if nothing changes either way?
