The man made a desperate plea to get his father’s pension sorted out or else he would kill himself with the chainsaw
A man, aged 50, was in the center of Athens on Monday morning holding a chainsaw. He demanded to meet with the chief of the social security for agriculture (OGA) because he is having difficulties with his father’s pension subsidy.
The man from Trikala appeared to be extremely perturbed and was threateneing to commit suicide unless he met with an official from the social security fund.
He was talked into giving up his chainsaw.
