Medical Tourism in Greece to receive boost

According to statements by officials

Deputy Minister of the Economy, Infrastructure, Shipping and Tourism, Elena Koundoura, and the president of the Hellenic Doctors Association Michael Vlastarakos jointly announced the formation of a committee to improve on the possibilities of Medical Tourism in Greece.

 

According to Mr. Vlastarakos, there are many places in Greece where potential Medical Tourists may find solace. Units specializing in many fields, such as dialysis, assisted reproduction, and hot springs will be alluring to foreigners with health problems.

 

On her part, Mrs. Koundoura stated that the State will be there to help with any attempt at improving Medical Tourism.
