Ruling coalition partner SYRIZA leads by 23.5 points over main opposition New Democracy (ND) in voting intent, according to an opinion poll conducted by Metron Analysis on behalf of Parapolitika newspaper.

Asked “if elections were to be held on Sunday, which of the following parties would you vote for?” 41.9% of the respondents said SYRIZA and 18.4% said ND.

Golden Dawn received 5.3%, To Potami 4.9%, the Communist Party (KKE) 3.9%, the Independent Greeks (ANEL) 3.8% and PASOK 3%.

A further 2.4% said they would vote “another party”, while 5.1% said they were undecided.
