A meeting was held on Thursday that focused on undocumented migration issues and was attended by the general secretaries for civil protection, shipping, welfare and public health,
as well as high-level officials of the ministries involved.

The participants stressed the pressing need to seek practical solutions, considering the fact that the economic, political and social developments in the country will eventually lead to an increased inflow of migrants.

The issues discussed included the reception infrastructure for migrants after their arrest, the cooperation of the responsible agencies and the identification of needs to cover any shortcomings.

It should be noted that the meeting was held at the initiative of the General Secretariat for the Coordination of Government Work.
