A young female patient bit a doctor at the Child Psychiatric Clinic of the Karamandan Hospital in Patras when she was prohibited from smoking inside the building premises.

The minor was being treated and exhibited extreme aggressive behaviour, which resulted in an outburst, according to the pelop.gr website, which reported she bit and slightly injured a doctor and also caused damage to the building.

According to reports, the patient suffering from serious infectious diseases escaped from the nursing facility only to return a short time later. The police were called to the scene.
