‘Investing in education is the best investment that our country could do’, said Kyriakos Mitsotakis in a speech at the 1st Primary School in Perama. The leader of main opposition party, New Democracy, attended the first day of school and wished the students and teachers a good and proactive school year, Monday morning, during the sanctification. In his brief speech Mitsotakis said that public education should be supported without prejudices, offering special thanks to the teachers and school staff for their efforts to keep public schools operational under exceptionally difficult circumstances.
