A British woman who chose to be photographed almost naked at the top of the majestic steps of Amalfi Cathedral has caused outrage in Italy. Using only a red veil, the woman surprised passers-by, who alerted the authorities.

Italian news agencies said the woman was an influencer who said she wanted to create a “personal memory” with two other tourists – another British woman, her assistant, and a photographer.

The steps leading to the entrance of the Sant’Andrea Cathedral are large and rise above the Piazza Duomo which has dozens of small shops, cafes, and restaurants.

The video, which was captured from a window in a residence above shops, shows the woman striking various seductive poses. She lets her red veil flow down her body, revealing parts of her body, against the backdrop of the doors of the famous cathedral.

Her assistant, in fact, appears to be spreading the veil on the steps as the woman takes her poses.

The photoshoot probably would have gone on longer, but the officers removed them before they could complete it, as passers-by called the authorities. According to the Daily Mail, they did not have a permit for the photo shoot.
